Was demonstrating the capabilities of my Mavic Pro to a friend and showed him what the 360º panorama mode does. Wasn't very high when I did it, well below the trees, and opening the image in DjiGo4, it looks like this, which I think is awesome:




However, I can't export this image in high resolution (the above is a screenshot) as trying to zoom in takes me "into" the scene and downloading it gives me the rectangular distorted picture (attached if you want to have a go). Trying to create a tiny planet from the downloaded picture (using GIMP polar coordinates), results in something like this:


The trees aren't as pronounced and it looks more just like a fish eye aerial shot rather than an intriguing little world. Any ideas?
