Hello and good day Wiz33. Thank you for the inquiry. I would actually purchase multiple suggested 256GB cards or lower memory suggested SD cards over one 400GB card. The advantage in having multiple cards is that if something goes wrong with the flight. For example if the SD card fails or stop working, if the drone crashes, or if you experience a flyaway or any other terrible event, you won't lose all of your footage from your trip. Thank you.

I think Wiz33 was referring to his pocket Osmo. Pretty sure it can't fly unless you throw it. But I think I would stick to a maximum of 256G

LMAO!!! yeah... 256Gb is max for OP... that's what I use... but that was funny...
Nah, mostly just thinking about not having to bring a laptop for long trips. would be great if you can transfer directly from the OP to an external HD.
I have one 400gbcard in my Phantom 4, I have a lot of issues when recording video, it stops very often and always have a message on the screen asking me to format the card over and over again, with Photos have no issue but the message...., I will go back to a smaller card.....
My two cents.
Yes.
Removed it from my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 500GB (where it acts as extra memory). Bought for less than €80 late 2019.
Reformat required, of course.
Short test: it seems to work (I haven't Got the time to fill it up ;-) Usually I prefer multiple 128GB cards, Which I transfer to smartphone via SanDisk USB-C reader at around 85 megabyte/second (in Which case I have a backup on my person). I do not reuse memory cards before reaching home and having verificer successfull transfer to my NAS. You may have other need and requirements.
