We have snowfields about 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne which get snow during winter. I'd hesitate even calling them hills (more like bumps) compared to your Alps! The temperature rarely falls below about 5 celsius even during winter in the city though. Melbourne is known for being a 4 seasons in one day kind of place .. it got to 37 yesterday, dropped to 19 within 30 minutes in the evening, severe lightning/thunder/rain, and then back up 6 degrees 30 minutes later .. the humidity was fun

This was actually more like a big frost, considering that we got only about 1/4 of an inch of snow. Not enough to go sledding or to build snowmen or any of that good stuff. It mostly melted within the first day.

Ha don’t you love the weather? Sounds like here in Tennessee - one minute it’s raining and hot, the next minute it’s sunny and freezing - and humidity all the way through!

First, there wasn’t enough snow for snow angels. Second, I live so close to an airport that birds eye view isn’t realistic. Finally, I did get a few - shots coming out soon.

Noticed that shots in the post aren't from the drone.  Think it's quite frustrating do not have possibility to fly whenever you want.
