Good Morning, I currently work in a distributor store of DJI products. Many customers ask me about the compatibility of the RONIN-S and I have a PDF list updated on 11/19/2018. Would it be possible for you to provide me with a more updated compatibility document on this date?
I have also found different lists that say different things about the operation of the Nikon D5300 camera, which is why I need an updated list.
Hi, thanks for your inquiry. The updated camera compatibility will be located on the DJI website, specifically under the Ronin- S page. However, the one that you have is already updated and our team will automatically update this compatibility documentation when there will be additional supported cameras for Ronin-S. We would recommend paying attention to our website for further updates. You may refer to the link below for further check.
#Quick Reply Here#good afternoon I am interested in buying DJI Ronin-S Essentials Kit. I have a Canon 7D Mark II camera. I want to know if it is compatible and in what things I am limited if it is not compatible.
So, I purchased the DJi Ronin S because I thought it supported most DSLR cameras. I was excited to find how solid is the Ronin S! It balanced my Nikon D5600 extremely well with my Nikkor 18-135 Lense, I came to find out that the Nikon D5600 is not even a supported camera on the list. The close I research, it appears that the Ronin S has been focused on the higher end cameras leaving the consumer based models alone and not developing anything for them. All the cameras on the list are $2k or above! When will DJi support the average consumer?

I saw the Hasselblad X1D is on the compatibility list. DJI Tony, should I get the Ronin Essentials or the S Standard edition? Seems like the Hassy X1D won’t make use of all the accessories in the Standard kit...am I right?

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. As of the time being, the Hasselblad X1D camera is not yet fully optimized with our Ronins, however, our designated department are doing their best to have this camera be fully compatible with our Ronin S. Currently, we couldn't provide appropriate cable for this particular camera as it's not yet fully optimized. Therefore, the functions of the Ronin S can't be used while using the camera. You could only balance your camera to our Ronin -S since it's under development.
Hello, so does any one know (from the pro s) wether there will be a firmware Update that includes the nikon d 7500 ?
I saw a video where someone Used the ronin with a System of a D7500 and a Sigma Art Lens Kit 18-35 mm and he was able to pull Focus
My ronin App says a nikon Cam Is supposed to be conected but no performance at all.
Anny help or ideas?

Hi. I am considering to purchase Ronin S but kind of hesitant because i am not sure if my canon 5D II will respond to what ronin has to offer with its hyperlapse & timelapse mode. How is it? Need help here thank you.
Ok lets take a moment to see if we can fix the problem, what if we take one of the provided cables cut the camera end off and solder and heat wrap a cable that fits our older cameras. An easy job for most people. With a little help from DJI and without back engineering, could we get a wiring schematic. it's only going to be 3 or 4 wires to match up? Just a thought I'v got no problem with doing it, but will it work or would we need specific software?
I've got a cheap intervalometer that works with all canons, with different connectors so surley this should be an easy thing to do?
