This is a weird one, I shot a couple videos with my Osmo Pocket at 30fps at 1920x1080 and edited them using Premiere Pro, when uploading to social media (facebook) they only come up as 144p 240p 360p and 480p.

Shooting the same scenes on my rx100v at 30fps at 1920x1080 and edited on Premiere Pro I get all resolutions upto 1080p, any idea why this would be the case, Ive tried mixing the file formats on Premiere Pro but still get a maximum 480p uploaded to facebook.

Check the file before you upload it as it should not make any difference where the file originally came from.

Thats the weird part, thats what I cant understand. Premiere Pro just reincodes it, I tested it out a minute ago a file from the Osmo Pocket then a file from my rx100v seperately put on a timeline then encoded 1920x1080 30fp then both uploaded to facebook.

Same thing the rx100v goes upto 1080p and the osmo file shows on facebook upto 480p.

Im gonna just try uploading the original osmo file and see what that shows.

Okay I uploaded the original osmo file to facebook and again shows maximum 480p, but hold on that tells me its 480p on the facebook mobile app. On facebook opera it shows me an HD option upto 1080p

So ive gotta assume its 1080p anyway. If anyone else has uploaded osmo footage to facebook.

When I upload a 1080p video on youtube it sometimes takes over an hour before the 1080 HD option appears.Alway's start's at 360 and then like I said it take's awhile before the HD option is available.
