If you look in the directory structure of the Mimo Android App, there is a folder called .sphere.
I think this has to do with future support for 360° Pano pictures, at least I hope!

The gimbal can not rotate 360degree and it can't photograph under the gimbal - (nadir)

Will look at the iOS and see it folder exsistsIt would be great if it did but IMHO it just cant see it being done with the OP
I've done quiet a few panoramas with Drone it rotate 360 gets & the nadir - But have add top sky
You can do it with some phone apps becuase again you can rotate it 360 degree

Even if it was not a true 360° (ie missing a bit of the ground) it would be good enough for me.

Had spheric mode on my Galaxy S8+ and used it quite often but there were some mismatches due to it being manual.

The OP would do a much better job.

It probably has to do with spherical projection of stitched panos. The 3x9 pano uses a spherical projection.
