The video footage I get whenever the Osmo Pocket is mounted on a bike is just unusable. Too much twitching. I added a very short extract to show what I mean. Which settings should I use to stabilize the shot? Or is it that the OP cannot really be used as an action camera? Really need help. Thanks a lot.

That looks like a slow SD card to me .. I had a similar issue before getting a fast MicroSD

Try a different technique: steer and brake one handed while holding the Pocket in the other. You'll see a big improvement.

Hello and sorry for my bad english!
I have also tried to put the op on my bike with a bike mount...the same footage...terrible. It was the same with my Osmo Mobile 1 and the DJI bike mount! Only the first DJI Osmo with the original DJI bike mount delivered a great result!
But here in the forum i have seen a vid from a man on his trike with a self made op holder and the footage looks pretty cool and smooth!

Indeed Osmo Pocket is NOT an action camera. Every gimbal camera need to be mounted on vibration damping device. Human body will absorb and damp such vibrations, while bike frame will transfer every shake and bump directly. Try to employ some chest strapping adapter, similar to GoPro accessory.

There are many videos on YouTube of good and bad footage with the OP mounted on abike. I believe if you want to film while riding, you should use a Chesty GoPro mount or similar. The vibrations on the handlebar aren't handled properly by the Osmo. I guess better mounting oprtons (dampened) will do a better job.

The Pocket has no stabilisation in the up/down plane - which shows when you walk unless doing a ninja walk.  On a bike it is being vibrated in that plane at a rapid rate, and inevitably you get bad footage.  So you need to dampen the vibrations externally as mentioned above.

Did you try both with the OP in vertical position and horizontal position (flashlight mode)?

From what I have seen on YouTube, the Fimi Palm does not have this problem  (though it has others!) - how and why I don't know.
