I voted, but want to add more info:
- I have 5 batteries with two P3Ps. But since I only fly one at a time, that's 5 batteries per mission.
- Since I have two P3Ps, I also have two 100W charging AC adaptors, so I can charge two at a time. Note that you don't have to buy a new bird to get a second charger -- you can buy them separately (yes, they're a big pricey).
- When I feel the need, I bring along my GoalZero Yeti 400, which has two AC outlets in addition to other outlets. I don't know how many charges I can get out of this thing because I haven't exhausted it yet. When I got it home, I immediately plug it into AC and leave it there until the next use (as recommended by the mfg).
In a typical mission around town, I can get away with 3 batteries without having a charger along, sometimes even just 2. Obviously, with the charger in item #3, I could easily get by with two batteries total. But when going out of town, especially on a road trip that's a full day or more than a day, the charger seems a must.
