Cheap and, I assume/hope, somewhat effective though it is somewhat difficult to quantify this in a scientific way unless filming in very challenging bright circumstances which I have not done yet.
Good Quality plastic and very easy and quick to fit. It does not obstruct the camera in normal use but I have not yet tested it with upward and sideward movement. I will do so over the weekend.
An added advantage is that the cover does protect the camera and gimbal to some extent in the event of an impact. - It should also protect the camera/gimbal from heavy side winds.
Fit is good with no flex and it adds to the lines of the craft.
I hope this helps I am not affiliated with any products I write about but have removed the link. If you need information please email me. Thanks
Hi, thanks for sharing your amazing accessory. This accessory would be useful when filming in sunny days or bright days and it will limit the amount of light that the camera receives. Thank you for continued support.
I can see the use of this, however it would limit the ability to yaw the gimbal, which is what I use a lot of since being able to fly forward and only have to worry about smoothness of the yaw is nice. I will say you either need a visual observer or need to learn how to do it without looking at the screen though since you wont see whats in front of you.
