I just started to fly my Spark and I have noticed that without touching the controls the drone drifts and will move sideways and downward slowly. There is no wind, just was hoping that it is something simple that I can fix.

At first, some drift over the ground - it is normal situation, because of visual sensor positioning. The light (exactly lack of light) can involve. So do not harry with conclusions.
If at the end you'll decide to recalibrate, do it with necessary  precautions: read calibration instraction (campass and IMU) before you start; take a friend with you; move to open space withot any interfirence around you for 10 metres (30ft); remove all gadget from yourself (I mean even a smartwatch), your friend have to stay at a distance from you, he hold remote controller with your phone and and give you commands through the process. If you will be alone, left RC and phone at the distance anyway. When colibrate hold the drone in your hands as higher as possible from the ground.
If you have questions just ask.

I would say also to make a calibration of the IMU and Compass .. Like Lysak2003 says, be aware of any metal Objects Close by. But you can do it alone. Watch the DJI instruction video's, they clarify a lot!

Hello and good day Gator Don. I am sorry to know that your DJI Spark is drifting when you are flying it. Can you please calibrate the drone and see if the issue will still persist. I will be posting an official DJI tutorial video on how to calibrate the IMU of the said drone. Please keep us updated on the said issue for us to help you further. Thank you.

Hi Don,

You really could be a bit more specific than just "it doesn't work"...
- Did you do the IMU and compass calibration successfully?
- Battery fully charged?
- What messages are on the phone screen when it does "not start up"?
- A screenshot would help
- Did you use the R/C or just the phone?

Cheers,
Wolferl

No messages on the screen, didn’t see how I could make it any more clear but maybe your right and just be specific. When I tried to power on the Spark there was nothing, no lights, no fan, no sound. Was able to talk with support and it was exchanged. Thank you for your willingness to help, it is appreciated

Calibrate the IMU. It should fix it.

Calibrate the IMU. It should fix it.

How should that work if the OP can't even power on the Spark?

Curious,
Wolferl
