I was finally able to find the best quick detach solution for the Nikon Z6 and the Ronin S.  I am using an Arca Swiss clamp with the Peak Design Arca Swiss plate.  The peak design plate does not interfere with the FTZ adapter (meaning you can remove/attach it without a problem).  I was able to balance the Nikon Z6 with FTZ adapter and the following lenses:

Nikon 85mm F1.4

Nikon 50mm F1.8

Nikon 24-120 F4

I was not able to balance my 24-70 f2.8 at all, it is just too big and it hits the back motor of the gimbal.  I'm going to have to invest in the 24-70 f4 S lens for the Nikon Z system.  Link at the bottom for Quick Detach clamp and plate.

Hi im havine same issue with these lens

I am having the same issues with the Ftz mount with the Nikon 14-24 2.8 , Nikon 24-70 2.8 and 85mm 1.4 sigma art lens. I can either calibrate the roll or tilt but regardless my eye piece will hit the gimbal motor in the back.

I’m also having issues with the Nikon 24-70 f2.8E and the sigma 85mm F1.4 Art lens. Does anyone know if there are counter weights we can add to bring the camera forward a bit so the eye piece doesn’t hit the back motor?

Does the Z6 balance and work on the Ronin S with the 24-70 f4 S lens?

I’ve had no problem balancing with 24-70 f/4 and my Z6.

Do you have a solution for using this quick-mount workaround with the focus motor as well? From what I understand, the focus motor parts screw in to the DJI mounting plate itself, which is blocked by the custom plate in this setup. Any ideas? (Looking to purchase a Z6 and Ronin S, to use my F Nikon glass - 85 f1.4 & 50 f1.8)
