Hi

I am considering purchasing an Inspire 2 with X7 camera, but have become very doubted about which license I should choose.

If I am interested in filming in Prores in 6K (Prores Raw) then I can understand that I have to buy a Cinema DNG license (which really sounds very illogical)

*So with a DNG license I can then film in H264 / 265 and DNG in all sizes up to 6K, but it is only in 6K that I can film in Prores Raw right?

*And if I mainly want to film in Prores in all resolutions up to 6K, must I then have both a DNG and a Prores license, or does the DNG license cover both DNG and Prores in all resolutions up to 6K ...?
*Like if I want to record in 2,7K in Prores, should I then downscale a 6K Prores Raw clip, or can I still record a 2,7K Prores clip with the DNG License?

*Or will I need to have the Prores License as well to record directly in 2,7K, 3K and 4K Prores ?

I'm confused :-)

Download the X7 user manual at this URL:  https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... +Manual+EN+v1.4.pdf  Go to page 21...The way I read that manual you have 8 resolutions for ProRes RAW.

Thanks. In Europe we use PAL and for tv and film not under 25 fps, so only 4 ProRes RAW format and no RAW HQ formats.
And no 14 bit at all... :-(
