I sure do wish maybe my remote didnt charge my phone when otg cable connected and yes its android i will not own a apple say what u want but dji should address this issue

It is not a DJI-issue, it is a Android-USB-Standard.
So go complain to google, please!

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we're sorry about the trouble. With regards to that The Android phone needs on-going 500ma to maintain the USB connection, so there is no option for the Android device to disable the Charging mode and it just normal. Thank you for your support.

Have you tried to connect your phone to your PC?
I bet you noticed it charges phone too.
