We should shortly be getting a government website with the 'online test' available, although I have not seen any mention of when that is going to happen.
Surely it must be up and running way before the go-live date as the paper says it will be illegal to fly on or after the 30th November without passing the online test and having it registered with the CAA.
In addition the registration number will need to be affixed to the drone.

Anyone know more?

Wow. They know how to take the fun out of it, don't they? I already took a test when I got my drone insurance - doubt it will be that onerous but like air rifles, the only ones who are not likely to break the law will register
