Last year I took one of my first flights to the decommissioned Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant. At the time I was unaware of the flying rules around structures so I stayed at the 400ft AGL limit and didn't get any shots above the cooling towers. This flight changed that . However unlike last year, there was a no-fly zone geo fence added to this area, or at least I dont remeber one being there. So I skimmed its boundary like white on rice.
Hello and good day BHProductions. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video from Rancho Seco Cooling Towers in California. Amazing work and thank you for your support.
Amazing footage of the cooling towers. One of my favorite shots was around frame 2:08 to 2:12 of the large bird capturing the wind inside the tower for flight.

Thank you B1. I love the little random stuff I see in post like those birds. Which I am curious to know why the turkey vultures were buzzing the towers. Perhaps something died in there and the dinner bell was ringing.
