Another FUD posting about the GPS Week Number Rollover that will have next to no effect on drones, which have modern GPS receivers that are ready to deal with the event.
April 6th there will be a GPS Week Number Rollover. A counter value enumerating the week number in the current epoch will reset from 1023 to 0 (it is stored using a 10-bit number). Modern GPS receivers are able to deal with this; they are designed with the knowledge that this is a regular occurrence.

I don't suggest flying at midnight UTC on April 6th, but otherwise this is a non-issue.

It would be a good idea if you Administrators deleted this thread as it is pure rubbish and only serves to inflame a situation that would not otherwise exist.

The only obvious thing about this is that it's a load of bunk and completely irrelevant to DJI or any other GPS drones (unless you know of some that are more than 20 years old.

No, I was referring to the standard, polite, virtual robo-reply you got from a DJI mod that is simply a courtesy response and has little to do with the actual value of your post. (Also, I was poking fun at the redundancy of "informative information").
But, as ALABAMA said, I think you meant well. Just be aware there is a downside to spreading information that is false or misleading, or that you don't fully understand yourself.
