I have the samsung note 4 and the ronin assistant. When I have the ronin on and I launch the app it goes right into a scanning mode and never connects with the ronin.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi chainmon, may I have the name of the APP you downloaded, did you download from our official website? Please make sure to enable all the access to the APP during the installation and the GPS position of your phone, then be sure there is no other Bluetooth of other devices is turning on.

I went to the google play store and dl dji ronin assistant. Only app in play store. I gave access to everything.

I am having the same problem with my phone... any luck yet?

no luck, 2 different androids....samsung 9 and the samsung note 4

both will not connect.

Could you please follow my suggestions below to try again when you are available?
1. Delete the current Ronin APP.
2. Download the APP here: https://www.dji.com/ronin-s/info#downloads by clicking the icon below. It will be downloaded to your computer first, then please transfer to your Android phone.

3. Enable all the access to the APP during the installation.
4. Make sure other Bluetooth has been turned off.
5. If there is no luck, please connect to Ronin-S to DJI Pro Assistant For Ronin v2.0.0 to update the firmware to the latest version and then try again, thank you.

Hi Ron Little, you just need to connect your phone to your computer via the cable and then copy and paste the APK to your Android mobile phone, then you can install it.
