Growing up you hear of Machu Pichu, Angkor Wat, the Pyramids... Up until a few months ago I had never heard of Bagan in Myanmar. It was magical and blew me away. From 1050 - 1300 AD over 10,000 temples, stupas and monestaries were built and today more than 2000 remain. We spent three days touring this place and could have been there for weeks. Enjoy this video that just scratches the surface of how big this place is and make sure to book your trip because its starting to get discovered.
Thanks for the complement. Two of them were shot from a balloon and the third was from the Mavic Air. Didn't want to get too close and risk running into one!
Thanks for the complement! I can't say enough about how cool this place is. It's stunning visually but the historical context and number of monuments is what sets it apart.
Thank you - and welcome feedback to improve. Seems you have good flying days and not so good ones. Had an epic location today but it was also really bright and hot and when I got back found the footage wasn't so great. Pre-flight is so critical, but so easy to skip... :|

Thank you! You seem to have done lots of flying with different DJI drones. My little Mavic Air unfortunately went for a swim in the Indian Ocean last week. It was quickly retrieved and rinsed with fresh water / dried in the tropical sun. Turns on and runs but the sensors seem fried. Luckily it was at the very end of our trip. Just returned home and looking at what to replace it with. Love the Mavic Air but this is a time to consider options. What are your thoughts regarding Mavic Air vs Mavic Pro or one of the others? Cheers!

Sorry for the late reply and sorry to hear about your Mavic Air. Anything on it can be repaired by independent shop locally to replace sensor? To answer your question, if I am not too late, consider your portability needs. Mavic air also writes at higher bit rate than the Original Mavic Pro (the Pro 2 has larger sensor and writes at 100mbit/s over original Pro). Mavic Pro 2 is heavier with the larger batteries.

Thank you for this insight. I sent the Mavic Air into DJI and they were very responsive. That was the good news. Bad news is it needed to be replaced and I had not purchased the damage insurance. I got a new one at a discount ($480 was much cheaper than a Mavic Pro 2) and am very happy to have it back. I also promptly purchased the $89 damage insurance and also picked up a set of Stealth Mode props for it and am very happy with the performance there as well. For me the form factor of the Mavic Air works best for how I am using it now. At some point would love to an upgrade but its size / value / performance is fantastic.
