One of my favorite spots to go to, when I want to enjoy the surrounding landscape, practice my piloting skills and  get some great drone footage. If you try to fly in this environment by sure to disable RTH and set it to hover. Tri pod mode and normal flyin modes were used. I was in and out of gps hold but I always had full control of the aircraft. The M2P was rock steady.

Great video and awesome creek!  When you fly in such close proximity to branches and rocks, do you turn your collision avoidance off?  I've tried to very carefully fly beneath the boughs of trees before with my MA and had it balk because the CA didn't want to go through.

I did use point of interest to do a little filming on a Radio Mast. The drone got closer than I wanted, likely due to a subject framing mistake by myself and although the front sensors work in that mode, the sides don't. I completed the task without incident but would advocate to anyone flying often  in close proximity to structures/obstacles to invest in rotor protectors.

Cheap and useful if not 100% fool proof,  they can make the difference between your $1500 toy returning ... or not.

I did a little write up with pics of some protectors a little while ago.

Recommended if your ego can get over it

Beautiful, as a fly fisherman i love those streams. Every year i travel to Slovenia but this year September i want to film with my M2P.
