When shooting stills I normally shot in RAW and JPEG and AEB.
However I decided to try the HDR feature today. First observation is that an HDR composed by the Mavic Air has a lot less contrast than the result I would get from merging AEB shots of the same subject. That could be fixed in post, so no issue with that.
When using the HDR mode
If shooting in Jpeg the MA clearly outputs a jpeg
If shooting in RAW and jpeg the output is a jpeg
Now the question. If only shooting in RAW the output is a jpeg, why not a RAW file.
Am I ovethinking this? Maybe I have too much time on my hands
