Can anybody out there with a smart controller tell me how many mavic batterys they can fly before they need to recharge the controller?

Five to maybe six depending on ground time etc.

Hello and good day linewalker. Thank you for sharing this information with us today. The DJI Smart Controller's battery have a working time of 2.5 hours. The said smart controller can fly approximately 5 DJI Mavic 2 Series drones before you need to charge the DJI Smart Controller. I can fly 5 Mavic 2 Pro batteries and the Smart Controller will be down to 20%

When the 6th battery goes in the first LED on the Smart Controller starts to blink so I call it a day and put it on charge.

Its fine actually but it would be nice if we could use 3rd party applications such Litchi.

Yes!
Reasons i got it are:
We have bright light conditions
HDMI output (when i use a second screen)
All in one (no cables)
Longer stick travel (used to Phantom 2, 3, 4)
Good signal
Additional SD card on the remote

nice- seems like it was worth the buck, although i probably would not have made the same decision
