Just saw this on the web, I went to the FAA site and it seems that this starts tomorrow, Feb 25, 2019. I don't see anywhere about the height of registration number on the outside of the drone. Any thoughts on this.

This is not a big deal. There are no requirements about the method or size of the registration identifier other than it must be legible, it must remain attached to the drone during the entire flight, and it must be visible on the outside of the aircraft when it is inspected. It does not need to be able to be read while the aircraft is in flight. I made a small label with my Brother PTouch labeller and installed it just above the  PHANTOM logo on the front side of the aircraft.

I put my identifier, inside my battery compartment.


Ok, so come and arrest me. Hahaha

I agree this is not a big deal. Get a label maker stick on the leg and call it good.

Or type something up, print it out tape it on with clear tape and call it good.
