That was one of the most informative and helpful tutorial/advisory post I saw here so far. However, it made me... scared of recording videos xD I'm a total amateur, I've edited and published one or two VIDEOS. The films/movies you're talking about are so freaking professional. They look like shots from real movies. At this point I am 100% I will never ever be able to get any close to those. Yet, the tips are really valuable. Thank you!

Hey! Thanks for commenting. I think you underestimate yourself. We all start from 0 it’s just the willingness to get better that keep few to go futher. In the era of YT, online education and web academies you can learn that stuff pretty quickly. So don’t be discouraged if you won’t succeed right away and just keep doing. I wish you luck.

Good content. I would add that relying strictly on drone footage will never yield a truly captivating film. Life happens on the ground, where the people and animals are. Drone shots are fantastic for dramatic establishment shots and transitions, but the view from above gets boring rather quickly without closeups and medium shots.

I agree. But I talking about strictly Short DRONE films. restrict yourself in only this medium is a hard option. Actors, animals, moving objects are for sure great addition and can tell story and set your film to new direction, but if you just shooting with drone its is much more difficult task to make great short.

Also I do not shoot people, animals so I speaking form my own experience
