Is the Sony A99 MKII compatible with your ronin s system? Your compability  chart does not directly mention the A99 (although it DOES mention the A9).

Can the ronin S support the A99 MKII payload?

Hi marctronixx, the Ronin-S can be stabilized when being used with cameras that weigh less than 3.6 kg, with a width smaller than or equal to 205 mm, and a height less than or equal to 150 mm. Sony A99 MKII is not in the compatible list, the functions cannot be fully ensured. But we are working on developing USB shutter control for Sony A9 series, please note the future update.

A99M2 is in use. We are using multi cable. But sometimes I get an error.

Thanks boss. I’m mostly interested in seeing if the payload is acceptable on the RONIN. I already picked up the gimbal with the focus motor, so I’m good. I can start/stop on the camera and I don’t use digital zoom, so I’m not concerned about connecting the camera to use the “Features” of the gimbal .
