Thanks John - which ones are you thinking of getting? The Matrice 200 series has just been updated with a V2.0 model using the same radio transmission as the Mavic 2 - Ocusync 2.0. It is a flawless transmission system mate and seeing the live feed in 1080p on my iPhone looks good enough not to edit off the sd card.

I want the mavic pro 2 it seems to tick all the boxes and will be great companion to the inspire.  The Matrice is also on the radar for a future buy. Madam has seriously got into film making, so the Matrice is a serious contender, but not til summer time. (I feel like taking a nap very time she mentions it lol)

Yeah it is a small fortune Andy (new camera kit alone 20 grand) but she never complained when I spent that and a bit more on Salmon fishing gear and my fishing adventures over the years, so good for the goose, good for the gander. The bonus is we've over the past year had absolutely fabulous adventures with our DJI drones so money well spent so far, and the adventure is going to continue onwards and upwards. Just seeing her stupid big grin when she's flying or when she's home editing is worth it, shame she jabbers away like a scalded monkey when we're out flying or when she's colour grading something otherwise it would be almost perfection from an intense fun project/hobby.

Hahahaha - love it! Big birthday present me thinks mate - she'll obviously appreciate it. Though 20K is one big gift but sounds like it's time to reciprocate. Do post pics when she gets it and in the interim treat yourself to that M2P - you won't be disappointed (think a more powerful, quieter Mavic Pro with longer flight times, current tech and no bugs and a camera attached that is often compared to the Phantom 4 Pro on a perfect gimbal).
