I Googled it today (3/2/19) using DJI Forum as a marker and got no posts on it. Also it was broadcasted on our local TV station last night (3/1/2019). Didn't know it was 6 days old.
I do live it the West . News travels very slow to get to here.

ya not like i haven't posted an old story or more before lol
I hope the guy has to buy them 2 drones to replace the one he shot down!
People are just stupid when it comes to what they think they have a right to do... destroy personal property and discharge a firearm within city limits? What a dumb a$$.
Drone owners / pilots do need to realize, others are not on their side.
Even though drone was being used to find lost Dog, quite a few people are siding with shooting drone down for violating their privacy and property rights.
Recent airport fisacos have put drones in negative light.
