the DJI guys said in February, that a possible new FW will come
beginning of March.

Maybe because most development teams work agile/scrum with so called sprints which are tightly  timeboxed. (e.g. 4 weeks)

If it take's 6 month's I don't care as long as it's BUG FREE.

Unless someone fires up a Mavic in the dev room and all the entries are blown off their Kanban Board. In that case the sprint may have to take longer while they work out where they got up too...
(OK, probably not funny to anyone not versed in the Agile methodology).
