An aerial journey from Hobson Moor on the Lancashire border, along the Longdendale valley to Woodhead.
The reservoirs are Arnfield, Bottoms, Valehouse, Rhodeswood, Torside and, at the head of the valley, Woodhead.
Following exceptionally low rainfall in 2018, the upper reservoirs are at an unseasonally low level.
Unless there are monsoon-like levels of rainfall throughout the Spring of 2019, there are likely to be conservation
measures and hosepipe bans in force this Summer.
Bleriot53, looks like you folks may be joining us here in California for bottled water, hope you get some of the rain we are getting now. Nice video and scenery, thanks for sharing.

Hello and good day Blériot53. Thank you for sharing this amazing video you have shot. Great work and thank you for your support.
Thank you Stephen. We had a few calm, sunny days at the end of February. Ideal for flying the Mavic.
Thanks Hal. The laptop I have with me here on holiday hasn't got the juice for video editing, so I just used the Windows "Create video" option to splice a few stills from several flights.

Thank you. I;m going back to France next week - the water crisis is much less of a problem there
