Was expecting firmware update along with Mimo update. But not yet.

Another moment that bothers me is frequently failing face tracking in selfie mode. Especially in low light conditions it’s easily losing the face. There is no surprise about it of course. But it would be right to add option to turn off face tracking because it’s just making impossible to hold the settled angle in selfie mode (I guess I’m naming it’s right). So I prefer settle composition through OP display and let it be stuck exactly in chosen angle.

The firmware contains some errors:
- sometimes switches from mp4 to mov
- Settings made in Pro mode will be lost when switching
- For example, the exposure compensation
- the gimbal setting, but also the brightness.
- The volume is reset to "medium" unless it is set to "automatic"

What is still missing:
- shorter intervals 0,5 - 1 and 2 seconds for time lapse recordings

What is the most updated firmware version? Mine reads "01.04.00.20"

It usually follows pretty quick, although I do remember FW update with Mavic Pro took months after app update, but that was the old days .

The only update I'm looking for is 4k 60fps compatibility with iOS but I'm still a bit lost on who's responsible for that, DJI or Apple.

My editing PC (i7-8700 with plenty of RAM and GTX 1050 4GB GPU)  is having a hard time working with the files (from 1080p and upwards)
Any other .mp4 / .mov from my other cameras are causing no problems whatsoever when editing!

Did you notice if the "turn the beep off" option was included?  Admin Panda mentioned in another Looooong post that the on/off option would be included in the next update.  (I can't check... my iOS version update hasn't shown up yet)

{Edit:  In order to get the updated Mimo App on my iPhone (Xs current iOS) I had to delete the App, turn OFF the phone, restart, and re-download.  Before that, the updated version didn't display in the App Store, and the Mimo App indicated "current version" even though 1.04 was listed... - .v1.06 is version referenced in this thread post}

What editing software are you using? I have the same computer hardware specs as you and I have no problem working with the 4K .mov files from the OP. None. Vegas Pro 16. Sounds like an editing software problem to me.

I'm also using Vegas Pro 16.

Try this for fun. Import any file (MP4 or MOV) from the OP and reverse it within Vegas Pro.
(Do not pre-render it or use a proxy file.)
Now try playing it in Vegas Pro. CPU will go to almost 100%

Now do the same with a proper MP4/MOV file and see the difference.

Please report back...

Not all 4K cameras record 4K at same bit rate I upgraded my hardware when DJI started supporting 100 Mbps

An option I still use is Proxies if your Editing Software supports it might save you upgrading

Unfortunately it's not only with the OP's 4K files. Same problem with the 1080 (but not as bad as the 4K) ... And yes using proxy files or pre-rendering does fix it, but thats not my point.

My point is that something is not correct with the encoding of the OP's files (By the way. I have no problems with the files created with a Mavic)

I'm using cheap (3€) Chinese 32GB microSD cards (C10/U1) with 30 MB/s write speed,
postprocessing with simpliest programs at an old (6 years) PC (AMD A8-5500, 4GB RAM, Win7)
.... NO problems with any OP videos, MP4/MOV, up to UHD/60fps.

I also have no problem playing any of the files on an old PC (just tested it on a windows 95 system).
And that's not the problem.

Try reversing the video in your simples video editor program and and than previewing it again in the edit program.  (Do not render it. Just simply preview the reversed file.)

The same for me could see no difference - DJI "whats new" are a little vague
Maybe one off the DJI reps could shine some light on this

I have issue with the app DJI Mimo on my Blackberry KeyOne. If I start editing, I do not have visible some options for editing (music - fade in, fade out, position of start, etc..). At the titles is the same issue. I think this is due to the atypical dimension of the display. I tried at Huawei P20 Pro and Iphone 6S and app works good, just only on my BB Keyone not. Is it possible somehow fix it?

Hello, I have a question for DJI. I’m a happy user of the Osmo Pocket. I would like to use the Mimo app with a Chromebook. Many Android apps can be used with Chrome OS, but the DJI Mimo app not yet. Can you make the Mimo app suitable for Chrome OS?
