Sorry for the basic question, but I'm trying to learn what's possible for single operator mode on the Ronin-M. I see there's somethign called SmoothTrack-- I get how that works for pan, but does it work for tilt too? Or does one need to use a joystick control for tilt?

Hi Zak Ray, in the SmoothTrack options menu, the settings of the pan axis, roll axis and tilt axis can be adjusted independently. When you enable them, the Ronin-M will react to the operator's movement without a remote operator.

Thanks Wanda, I'm just having a little trouble envisioning how that works (I don't currently own a Ronin but would like to buy one soon).

It looks to me like the operator handle bar only has a pan head attached to the rest of the gimbal. How does it detect tilt movement?
