I've ordered one of the aboveto increase drone visibility both during the day and night.

The Mavic, due to small size and colour is difficult to spot.

These Cree strobes are supposed to be ultra powerful and tiny.

I will fit it initially under the drone. If good I'll add a second one to the top further increasing safety.

As usual, I'll report back with pictures.

I have a set of 4. Red Green 2 x White... attached to the legs with velcro. perfectly adequate as they are so light .

Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry and sharing this information with us today.  Just a friendly reminder that we do not recommend using 3rd party devices for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro . 3rd party devices might affect the drone or its component and can also affect the performance of the drone when in use. Actually, there is a possibility that these Strobe lights for DJI Mavic  2 Pro will be able work on the said drone. However, since it's not yet optimized and tested by DJI we cannot guaranteed the stability of the said accessories or devices if it will work all the time with no issues while using the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Thank you.

I have received the Strobon Module and will post some pictures later.

Very small and only a few grammes.

Flash is very powerful indeed and it charges quickly.

The module is covered in a plastic wrap which is open to the sides allowing access to the charging port.

I had a look at housings of which there are several available from private sellers (not the manufacturer). These are all 3d printed and fit around the arms.

Unfortunately they also add considerable bulk and volume to the light.

I have PolarPro's retractable landing gear fitted and dont want anything else on the arms.

It's easy to fit the Strobon simply with velcro or double sided tape.

I will probably mount the light underneath.

I am currently looking to find an alternative 'packaging' for the light even though it's not strictly necessary. More cosmetic than anything else.

Velcro is easier and permits you to move the strobe between drones as required. Nobody will notice the mounting system once it's 25 feet away.
I use one at the front (red) and one at the back (white) of my Mavic Pro. Did not affect the IMU or compass enough for the app to detect

A great improvement in VLOS range

It's a pity that this one is not self powered, Police Strobe could be useful to keep pests away
