I'm seeing a difference in the version of flysafe database loaded in my iPhone 6S plus and my 2016 iPad pro 9.7.

Both are running latest version iOS 12.1.4

Both are running DJI Go 4 V4.3.12

The iPhone shows Precise Fly Safe Database (for App) as 01.00.01.13 and displays newer style geo zones on maps showing extended protections for runway approaches.

The iPad shows Precise Fly Safe Database (for App) as 01.00.01.12 and displays traditional style geo zones on maps showing circular zones round airports.


I have deleted and installed DJI Go 4 on the iPad pro, and the basic flysafe database updates from 01.00.01.08 to 01.00.01.09, BUT there is no update to the Precise Fly Safe Database (for App) which remains at 01.00.01.12. And shows the older circular geo zones. My iPad is wifi only with no GPS. But that should have no bearing on the geo zones for the aircraft.

i think thats what mine said it updated yesterday "geo fencing "

Tried to downgraded then upgraded the firmware of the aircraft to solve this problem, but dont worked.

Now updated my P4 without any problems to V01.00.01.14 via DJI Go 4 App' & 'OTG' lead connected to P4.
