Just a quick question, I had watched a YouTube video showing how to do the Compass Calibration and the person in the video performed their test outside. Does this need to be done outside or can it be performed inside? Ohio winters can be a #&%$@ so not having to go outside is a plus.

With regards to your question, one of the reasons why compass calibration needs to be outside to avoid magnetic interference or any interference that may interfere when calibrating the compass. You CAN do it inside, but you shouldn't. I usually avoid doing a compass cal unless its needed. Check the sensor bias/accuracy in the advanced sensor menu and make your determination based on that
