Hey,
I want to emulate the view from the undercarriage or an aircraft on approach to land. Is it possible to run Tap Fly in Sport Mode to maximise the approach speed? Any other advice greatly appreciated.

In sports mode the collision detection is disabled as it wouldn't be effective. So it wouldn't be safe for it to fly under anything but human control. So I think automated flying in sports mode is a non-starter.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. During the sports mode, the vision systems are disabled and the aircraft will only use the GPS for positioning. The intelligent flight modes are disabled during the Sports mode, therefore, we couldn't use Tapfly during the sports mode. However, you could adjust the speed of the aircraft during this Tapfly feature. Thank you for understanding.

Auto modes will only work in P mode, you could try turning off OA in P mode and check if you can gain more speed in tap fly.
But in answer to your question No you can’t get tap fly to work in sport mode.

You will already know if you are in sport mode you don’t have access to auto modes .
