Kropserkel : where on the planet are you?. It apears this problem is time zone specific. So far we have recorded failure in USA, Finland, Netherlands & Germany.

Hi there. I need to let you know the date/time issue is not completely resolved by the 4.3.16 update  for all time zones. In the UK it seems to be OK but it appears a problem persists in some time zones. So far the forum has recorded failure in USA, Finland, Netherlands & Germany.

It looks like an error in the GMT offset in some time zones.

We are looking for acknowledgement from Admin this is recognised as a problem for DJI to solve.

Well, not only GMT but mine has crossed the International Date Line backward a few hundred times as it shows files with dates in June 2018, yes, 2018.  Both pics, videos and LOG/txt files are in 2018.

I too have incorrect date information. This post is 05/02/2019 and I last flew mid April. Last flights after March 2019 show in September and October, 6 months in the future. What gives?

If I'm reading this right the last flights were on the 9th and 10th of April 2019. Is this a problem? You may be misreading the day/month /year order!

Well, I know 2018 was wrong for the files created last week.

Wow -- impressive (not) altitude     My flight records only show my Mavic and seem to be okay but won't sync with my Inspire flight records.

Problem is NOT solved. My flight on 2020 October 11 with up-to-date firmware on Smart Controller and DJI Mavic 2 Pro are all recorded for 2017 September 14.

Same here on a DJI Mavic 2 Pro and it has nothing to do with SD card, type of Phone or Phone time settings (I used multiple SD card from different brands and 3 different iPhones all set to the timezone of the country I was in). I travelled in 3 different countries with different timezone and the timestamp is always correct on the photos but never on the videos. First, when I moved from France to New Zealand, the timestamp of videos was ahead of 12h (the timezone difference between the 2 countries). Then, we changed hour in New Zealand and the timestamp of videos offset by 11h (the new timezone difference between the 2 countries). I then moved to Samoa and the timestamp of videos was ahead by only one hour now (the timezone difference between New Zealand and Samoa).

It's been a recurrent issue noticed by many DJI drone users that doesn't seem to be solve by DJI. I hope my comment will help you solve this problem as it seems to be a complex one depending on the previous country you visited, the new you are in and the timezone difference between them. However, I still don't understand how the software can timestamp photos correctly but not the videos?!

Here it is Nov 2021 and this is still a thing. I found this link after searching for help with all of my logs being one day off. Now I know I cannot change them and this problem will never (apparently) be fixed. What a foolish failure of programming.  I have never changed times zones or anything. New user. It's not practical for me to take the time to manually input the date and time. I often fly, drive to another area make several flights, etc. Stopping to input dates and time...impractical. Sad.
