Hi, I'm a Newbie to this forum. Ive got into drones so I can take pics form better locations, not really into video, just stills realy.

So that being said I deciden to build a drone that could carry a decent camera, I managed get hold of a crashed quad that needed to TLC, turned out it needed a rebuild, sorry, a redesign and build from the ground up. The Quad had the E1200 propultion fitted to it and the Naza V2 with GPS, at £169 off eBay a few years ago I thought it was a bargin. My questions are, is there a minimum weight for this, its only 3.7 kg with a 6600 battery, no camera and no gimble. Second question, what will be the max weight I can get to and still have a usable drone?

Thanks in advance

Minimum weight is usually not an issue, but you may need to tune the flight controllers parameters if you find any weird behavior at very low or high weight

I suggest you interpolate these numbers:
Max Thrust
3900 g/rotor @25V Sea Level
Takeoff Weight Recommended
1200~1400 g/rotor @Sea Level
