Not that far, only a few hundred yards.  The ship channel passes right by the dike so it makes it very easy.

Watching the video looks like you had to fly some distance

to get there. well done.

When covering distance over level ground I try to fly as low as I’m comfortable to make the speed appear higher, and make the video more interesting.

Thank you! It looks like it was once red, but the sun has faded it to this color. In some places it looked pink
