Will I be able  to control the camera

with

What setting for the camera? USB Connection: PC Remote? USB LUN Setting: Multi?  Do you have any tutorial to get start/stop recording video, photo capture, zoom control, and you can trigger auto focus.

the Sony Camera Setup Method doesn't say anything
When using MCC-Multi:
1. After connecting the cable, be sure to power
on the Ronin-S before the camera. Otherwise, the Ronin-S does not recognize the camera. If the camera is not recognized, restart the camera or remove and reconnect the cable to the camera.
2. The optical zoom can be controlled through the Ronin-S Focus Wheel (only lenses with built-in power zoom, such as the Sony E PZ 18-105 mm F4 G OSS). If a non-Power Zoom lens is mounted, the Focus Wheel will control digital zoom. Digital zoom must be enabled in your camera’s settings.
3. After connecting with a Sony camera using the MCC-Multi cable, if you need to swap to a camera of other manufacturers then a gimbal reboot is required.

What is the camera set up required for Sony a7r2?

i never used the supplied "adapter". i simply connected the purchased MCC cable directly from ronin s to my A7Rii and start/stop worked.  not sure if or why you need the extra adapter?

Hi, today is 11-Nov-2019, did you be able to follow focus with the  Sony A7R2 using the MCC cable? Mine only display "check the connected device", I have tried turning on the ronin s before the sony A7R2 without success, any advice?   

Follow focus with the Ronin-S doesn't work on the A7R2 and probably never will.

Now with the cable it works correctly but now when I want to do a time laps the forums are not saved in the camera
