i need to clarfiy that here in my country there is no height limit and the airport is pretty far from take off point
so i modded the spark it was not easy but all aside
i manged to get this high with 7ms up and removed all the thngs on my spark but the battery clip to reduce weight

why am i doing this because i want just one shot of the clouds from such height but those last days none sadly if i get such shot i doubt ill be cruising at such heights

risk of cloliding with planes or heli
well helis are so rare here and planes mostly fly upove the sea or dessert





so far i dont know how breaking 1166 will be as battery will always trigger landing at 55% and 7ms is max speed any more and the rpm is too high max speed reached =/

so what are your opinons will this height suffice for recording the clouds being upove them?

You can go faster up and down. Change parametrics like:

You may not need to go that high to see above clouds.  I'm at 510 M ASL. Add 200 - 300 M & I was above the clouds.
I'll post a video soon after I edit the boring take off location etc . Either way, you don't have to fly too high & obtain wonderful pics above low clouds. 120 M is ok. 300 is better. Above that - good luck 'cos you wont see the small drone.

OK, where is birdseye footage?! You got so high and didn't point your camera down to see what the view below your drone? It is an example of extremely horrible behavior!

Now I cannot be 100% sure if the information in this URL is true but as mentioned by Lysak2003 above, I am also curious to know what purpose did it serve to fly so high? I didn't see anything extraordinary in the 5 sec footage you have shared and it is too much of a risk to go up so high. Please fly responsibly buddy.

According to my research online, a permit is required to fly drones in Kuwait, If the permit is followed - no problem. Otherwise you may face 3 years jail or a fine of $9,800 (KD 3000)

here its 67m ASL and 97 in dessert sometimes am looking forward for your video
i hope i can find low alt clouds here i did once but it was on NFZ sadly
here its rare for low alt clouds

drones are legal here dji store is in the city and u can find the drones at alot of shops
and asked dji they said no limit on here but drone is 500m limited

i know its useless going that high i agree
but just waiting for low alt clouds so i can record them and them i will not bother as i always fly 150m max  as not much iis up there always

it clearly says dont go upove restricted areas which
are military and oil the palace and gov airport and ship docks

am not breaking the rules as there is no height limit and dji said here there is no limit in Kuwait then said the rules
and no permit as i bought it from dji store they just wanted my ID thats it =/

i know i have to keep a eye on the power meter to make sure 20% is free so 80% anymore and max motor speed

Well in my area here i can reach the clouds in much less than that (never tired it tho)  simply due to the fact that the land is so high , its risky for the spark for its size and all but otherwise its a hell of scary idea but cool to try it

Here, we're limited to 400ft (120 meters). At that height, Spark is pretty much too high for me to see.

Wow that is high, and as you say, scary. It would be nice to fly where there are few regulations. In Australia we have a set of regulations which are appropriate for the cities, but they are also applied out in the country. So out in the desert where there are no small aircraft for hundreds of kms and any large aircraft are 10kms above or higher, we have 120m height limit. Perhaps it is one of those regulations where discretion may be applied.

when I was flying in the 172 there were birds that high lol, at 4k alt but they usually know what to do
I was flying a wing way back by a huge bird but I couldn't tell how close I was but it took evasive action and tilted fast when we were going to collide
