So after a fellow forum member shared information about the Target sale of Spark Intelligent Flight Batteries I acquired 2 more for a total of 5! This seems to be the perfect number for me. I have taken two trips and am very happy with the capabilities I have with a total of 5 batteries. Happy flying everyone!

Heard this somewhere. The formula for the number of batteries you need is given by
n + 1; where n = no. of batteries you currently have

Make it six and a second  charger bay! ;-)

5 minimum with the Spark - 8 would not be overkill as that would give you less flight time than 4 M2P batteries.

I have six as my portable charger, when fully charged up, can charge six.  That gives me 12 batteries for when I'm out in the field, away from the truck all day.

I believe it is not a “sale” item, but simply a price if the item is ordered online, (online price - $34) then you go pick it up. If you just walk in the store, the price will show $49.
At least, that is how it worked for me.

Also have 4 but 5 is better

I used to have one but the battery only lasts 15 minutes!
But then I got two more and now I have three: 45 minutes, that's good for me.
