Lysak, you’re too kind. Thanks man. The color grading was a loooong process for this one.... likely because of my personal naïveté concerning grading techniques and my hardware limitations  (and likely not due  to something challenging in the footage in and of itself).

So, color grading just isn’t something I can rush through and end up with  good results. By that I mean, is the video I’m creating  engaging enough that had someone else made it, posted it, and then I happened upon it , would I stop to watch it? If so,  would I watch it all? If not, then more reflections and reconsiderations are all necessary, or possibly scrap and forget it.

Ah, you liked that too! That particular scene’s minimalist look and it’s soft gradients screamed, “put text on me!’ when I played it back for the first time after the shoot. So, I had to oblige. Haha.
