Most of my current phone chargers are rated at 2 amps output.  What is the max output recommended for chargingthe transmitter(rc)?
Thanks

I have several 2 amp chargers and using a USB power meter, I never see a current draw exceeding  300ma when charging my R/C.  The charge rate of the R/C battery is regulated within the R/C, so regardless of the charging adapter rating being 1 or 2 amps, you will not be able to accelerate the charging time. If you charge your display device simutaniously with the R/C through a USB hub, a 2 amp adaptor would be prefered. And, there are larger gauge USB cables available that will insure the USB cable is not bottle necking the charge current.

Charge rates are decided by item demand not power supply in this case.

2A USB is fine.

But always use a charger rated higher than the desired charge rate of the unit.

Thanks all. that makes charging the RC a lot easier since I must have over five of these later model chargers from my phones. Always something to learn.
