Hi,

Given the price of the M2P, has anyone got recommendations for damage insurances in the UK?

Photoguard seems to be able to provide damage/theft insurance on the M2P for about £24, which seems very cheap compared to other companies.

Any feedback?

Thanks,
T.

Thanks but this one seems to be almost twice as expensive, when drone damage is included

From what I can see on their website, it's only public liability insurance? Do they have damage and theft insurance?

Our house contents insurance includes the replacement of my drone.
Somewhere on this forum you will find my report about a person who shot my drone down. It was several years ago now. Anyway, the insurance paid for a replacement within a couple of weeks, less the excess. We never specifically insured the drone, it was covered by high value items like computer, camera...
Have you spoken to your insurance company to see if you are already covered?

Not sure, if you have house insurance, just add it to that.

Not all home insurance will cover drones. It's difficult to find information on which insurance companies in the UK will accept claims for damage on drones

£98 per year with Flyicarus, without any worldwide cover.

No, thank you! Not competitive at all.

In comparison, less than £25 with Photoguard, with cover when limited trips abroad.

Anybody has used Photoguard?
Seems like Aviva is one of the home insurance companies covering drones against theft, loss and damage under their content insurance/personal possessions.
