That style is ok but be careful if placing bird in a carry case as lower edge can catch.

I use one much like that- in general these designs are much more user-friendly than the OEM DJI version that connects to landing gear. Every time I snap one of those on I feel like I'm going to break or tweak the gimbal.

I ended up with one of these:

It is working well and seems to support well.
Any time I mess with the gimbal it feels like I'm gonna tweek it.
They feel so sensitive.
