Just purchased a new z3 camera and added it to the Inspire 1v2.  The camera will not focus and there is no option in the DJI Go app to zoom, nor does the zoom buttom combo work on the controller.  Inspire firmware is currently 1.11.01.50+.  Camera firmware is 1.9.1.40+.  Remote firmware is1.7.80.  Tried delete and reinstalling DJI go, recalibrating the remote.

You need to download and install the Firmware for the Z3

Tried grabbing Zenmuse Z3 Firmware V01.11.01.50 (Inspire 1) 2017-07-10.  This is the same number as the firmware I already have installed.  Regardless, I tried and the update failed.

Yes, the z3 was mounted at the time.

best i can say is format the SD then transfer the FW file again and try to update once again and see. although it is the same number FW its slightly different from X3 and Z3

Still stuck.  I've tried formatting a couple different SD cards on the computer and the AC(through DJI GO).  The AC acts as though its starting the upgrade then seems to get stuck making an unpleasant noise.

I also have similar problem - Z3 new - only working intermittently. Cannot install Z3 firmware 1.11.01.50.
AC already running 1.11.01.50 X3 so seems to disregard the Z3 1.11.01.50 .
In info, AC version actually states 1.11.01.50+

No option to install old FW version and try again as not on DJI Website?

I'm wondering if there is any advantage of owning the inspire V1 with x3 camera over the Mavic 2 pro I know the 10 bit 1 inch sensor beats the x3's specs but does anyone know any advantages in the inspire 1's favor. I'm thinking the Inspire 1's size may have an advantage in higher winds but is it only marginal?
