We had some issues with the Herewin MG1200-S battery as many operators of AGRAS MG-1S that I know. Overheating of cables, plug (XT90) melting and short-circuiting, battery communication errors, etc.

Another problem is the rubber belt that fixates the battery to the fixing base in the tank. Even though the batteries are stored in a climate controlled space and the rubber belts are kept moist with special products, these belts keep breaking apart.


There is no replacement for this rubber belt, so you keep switching belts from battery to battery losing precious operation time. For a $500 battery, DJI QA department should test better their products and assure their clients that they will receive the best quality for the price they are paying.


As a $500 battery cannot be grounded due to a 1$ rubber belt, I decided to repair the rubber belt by myself. Hope it works, because sooner or later, all my batteries will end with the same problem.
