By chance was this the storm in Texas? I was out yesterday evening and was hoping to catch some of the lightning, but the rain was getting heavy, so I landed.

Yes, this is in Texas.
That was around 7am this morning.
This was the very beginnings in the Texas Hill Country that moved and intensified towards the Gulf Coast.
couldn't even call it light sprinkles and next to zero wind.
The elusive "clean side" I look for in a storm.

I love lightning!  Nice captures and thanks for sharing.  It would be fun to try and sync the audio from your phone (if it was able to pick it up) to the video.

Nice capture pmshop. It seems your Spark is always up there, be it sunrise, sunset, storm or lightning.
Will be nice to add some sound effects as MccloudSpark suggests.

yes, that would be cool.
Timing was way off - at least 15 -20 miles away.
Yes I could sync but time consuming getting that beep on the countdown to line up in the Skillet Knob video
