I today have this problem too.  Locked up on boot screen.  Just finished a flight, shut down, rebooted 5 minutes later, lock up occurs. Over an hour from me office!  Now trying to fix it.  I suspect full internal memory.

What is the Hard reset - power off 10 secs?   Doesn't work for me.  There must be a way to fully factory restore these things to free up internal memory?

This was the problem we had with our first smart controller.

Dji online support spent ages trying to diagnose the problem but could not get past that splash screen.

Ours was due to the internal memory filling up.

It had to be sent back and was replaced with a new one.

If you have tried the factory reset and it still is hung there is one more thing you can try.

Connect it to a pc or Mac and try to browse the memory.

You might have to use an app, we used android browser on our Mac.

Sadly it didn’t fix it for us, hence we sent it back for a replacement..

But worth a go for you perhaps?
