Hi all,

  • Does anyone know what is the useful life (years) of a drone inspire 1?
  • How many hours can an inspire 1 fly to discard it and avoid incidents?
  • How many hours of flight do brushless motors need to change them?

thanks for your comments

Hi, thanks for the inquiries. We're sorry that we don't have the exact details on these inquiries. However, the warranty period for the whole unit (except for gimbal camera, and battery) is 12 months and flight hour less than 200 Hours. Nevertheless, the life span of your drone would still depend on how you take care of your aircraft and if we're not abusing the drone when using it. It could fly for many hours for as long as it's still on the good condition and we're sorry that replacing the brushless motors is no recommended option as this would reflect the warranty of your unit. It's still recommended to send the unit into our facility for further evaluation in any case that we encounter a physical problem on your aircraft. We also have maintenance documentation wherein you could take care of your Inspire 1. Please refer to the link below and image. Thank you for continued support.

Mine is 3 years old and still going strong.  I just keep it clean (compressed air cans are a big help).  Keep close tabs on the batteries by using the app as you can see what the cells are doing.  Most of all, safe flying, avoid rough landings, and no crashes will help this bird last you a good while.
