Hello, I had something weird with my Mavic Pro yesterday.
So last sunday, I charged the batteries, checked for updates,... on Wednesday, I fly for 12 min without any issue.
Yesterday, I flew for about the same amount of time, but in the end, I lost control of the mavic for a second, then, its behavior was quite erratic. I was filming and it stopped filming on his own. I did not crash, I landed safely without any harm.
Here is the video, it looks like I hit something then stopped filming before crashing, but my eyes were on the drone, nothing hit it, it stopped filming on its own and I immediately landed.
Any suggestion? Should I avoid any new fly before some repairs? Should I calibrate something?
I had this issue occur twice in the time I owned the original Mavic Pro - it's basically a gimbal disconnect issue - a glitch with the drone. It was so infrequent that I just ignored it. If it becomes more frequent for you then raise a ticket and ship the drone to DJI for checks. You can also try updating/refreshing the FW, calibrating the gimbal and ensuring you don't have heavy third party ND's on the lens but honestly, it's just a glitch.
Agreed. Looks like the "gimbal reset" issue that the MP does every so often. I've had it happen a few times. Freaks the hell out of you when it happens but it doesn't seem to cause any problems with flying. I've had it happen where the gimbal is pointed sideways or at a weird angle pointing up after it resets. Land, reboot, everything seems OK afterward.
